- 2 tbsp artificial sweetener
- 57g (2oz) plain flour

Method
- Heat your oven to 180C (160C fan, Gas 4). Put the rhubarb in a medium-size pie or glass dish. Add the pear slices, orange juice and zest, and toss together to combine. Sprinkle over the sweetener and cinnamon, and cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the topping by placing the low-fat spread, sweetener and flour in a bowl. Rub everything together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Remove the fruit from the oven. Sprinkle over the topping and cook for a further 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

For some extra crunch consider adding some roughly chopped almonds to the topping. You can also swap the ground cinnamon for ginger, or a combination of the two if you like.
How to make a slimming world crumble with oats?

Can I make a slimming world crumble with frozen fruit?
Yes, if rhubarb and pears are not in season when you want to cook the recipe, simply swap for frozen alternatives. To ensure the filling isn’t too watery, you might like to defrost the fruit before using.
